Have name under repaired window

Kind-hearted Wedmore villagers are invited to sponsor a windowfor the village hall and in return have their name immortalised on acommemorative plaque.

Edward Creswick, director of the village's Annagram Team EstateAgents, has pledged to help raise the funds to replace the hall'swindows and repair mullions.

He said: "There are nine windows of different sizes around thehall, which urgently require repair to prevent further erosion."

The building's adviser says each pane of glass will cost Pounds85 including cleaning, renovation, fitting and VAT.

Each pane will have to be measured and cut at the factory beforeit is heated and toughened. People and businesses can sponsor a paneand have a plaque placed below each window stating their name.

Mr Creswick added: "Annagram Team is delighted to support thisworthwhile appeal and invite other businesses, friends and hallusers to do the same."
