RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) — Sepp Blatter said Sunday he is confident of being re-elected president of FIFA when world football's ruling body votes on June 1, brushing off calls from his rival Mohammed bin Hammam to stand down over allegations of bribery facing FIFA officials.
"I am going to win," Blatter said Sunday on a visit to the Palestinian territory, seen as a bid to shore up support in the Middle East for his candidacy. "We need consolidation, not revolution."
